3Ts Counselling - Trust. Talk. Take Action

Please see information on the new contract and

services on our news page which provides details of

the new CHUMs Service.

The 3Ts project is here to provide counselling to young people aged 11 - 17 years who for many reasons need support to work through things that are getting you down or causing you distress.

The project supports young people living in Peterborough.

No problem is too big or too small. We all need support at times in our life and counselling is one way of working through problems.

Counselling is a safe and confidential way to work together to find a way forward.

How do I get help?
You can contact 3Ts on 01733 567998 / 01733 555532 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Where will we meet?
We work from our Eastfield Road site but offer services in a wide range of settings including schools.

What happens?
Once we hear from you (or anyone supporting you) we will meet with you and talk through the reasons for you looking for help. This first appointment is to give time for you and the counsellor to agree if it is right for you. This session can take up to an hour.

If you decide you would like counselling after this first appointment there will be a wait to start - sometimes up to 6 weeks.

You are able to ask questions at any time and our work is to give you as much information as we can.

The staff are experienced, trained and CRB checked and we work to best practice guidelines.

What does confidential mean?
Confidential services means that we cannot tell anyone from an outside organisation that you have been in contact with us without you giving us permission.
If however, we believe you or another young person is at serious risk of harm we would contact other services that may help. Your counsellor will always tell you first.

All of our counsellors have clinical managers with whom they share information to ensure that the work they do is safe and OK.
