We’ve all been there. It’s a party, you’re nervous; will the bloke you fancy be there? Will the girl of your dreams think you’re a total idiot? You need to relax. What’s the answer? Have a drink?

Well, maybe. Having a drink can make you feel more relaxed, but it also makes it more likely that you’ll do stupid things. The trouble with alcohol is there’s no off switch, and there’s a fine line between being at ease with yourself and drinking so much you take risks you later regret, or you make a complete fool of yourself.

This website is not about…

  • Telling you not to drink
  • Telling you what to do
  • Telling you how to live your life

It is about…

  • Staying safe
  • Staying healthy
  • Staying alive
  • Being in control
  • Where to go and who to talk to if you’re worried about someone’s drinking, or your own
